After my first experience here, I would have given them a much higher rating. But I brought my son in yesterday and the man who cut his hair didn’t LISTEN to anything I said, was INSENSITIVE to my son and completely butchered his hair. I am still up at 2 am because I am still upset about the fact that he took my sons beautiful shoulder length hair and after being shown a picture of a very long version of a faux hawk chose to cut it to barely above an inch at the longest point. Then when I was upset, proceeded to argue with me that the haircut he gave him was indeed what a faux hawk really is. I don’t give a flying � what the name of a haircut is! If I show you a picture of someone with hair that’s a good 4” long on top I don’t expect my kid to have his hair barely an inch long on top. He also attempted to run a standard men’s hair comb through shoulder length semi-curly hair dry and got mad at his coworker for spraying it with detangler first. I HATE the haircut; and it’s the worst kind of bad haircut because you can’t fix WAY TOO SHORT! I liked the first person we saw there. Too bad because after yesterday we will most likely never set foot in there again. If he had been paying attention when I told him what style we were looking for he certainly would have known to err on the longer side of cutting like most female stylists do when they do a drastic cut on a woman. Given that you can always cut more off but you can never put any back on. It’ll grow back is no consolation when it will take months to look decent.
